Help with HP-UX/PDO/WO351

Hi,

Some desperate help needed here...here is the scenario:

WebObjects 3.5.1, application deployed on HP-UX 10.20, Oracle 8.0.5 on
separate system. When I start the application from the command line,
everything works just fine. I can run the application from a remote
browser, and all functionality is there. I can break this in two ways:

a) launch monitor on the same server, and then try to launch our
application - both Monitor and the application hang, as if waiting for a
resource.

b) start our payment server, then start the application - the
application communicates with the payment server using DO. When I
attempt to make a payment through the application, a connection is
attempted via DO, which causes the application to hang (again, as if
waiting for a resource).

Anyone else seen this? To make matters confusing, we have deployed the
same application on a different HP box, and had Monitor starting
multiple instances of the application with no problem at all, indicating
to me that there is a tweak or two that can be applied to the HP-UX
kernel ( at the time the payment server was not ready, so option b was
not checked)

Any and all help appreciated - this has hit the urgent stage, since we
are trying to benchmark the application for a large customer.
