Good point, both on the cost of the box and the cost of the development.

In my opinion, 90% of web sites should be optimizing for money anyway.  
The environment changes so fast that optimizing for longevity is 
usually a lost cause.  Also, if you build something for half the cost, 
that leaves you the option of building it again later: so money can be 
converted into longevity if the need arises.
