WebObjects 1.0 Release Date? History?

Georg - hope this doesn't upset you :-), but I worked with a German company
to build a demonstrator of an SAP integration solution using WO 0.3. As you
can imagine, the documentation was, errrm, somewhat lacking. But it wasn't a
publicly visible site like GNUstep.

So happens while clearing out a cupboard today I found a press pack for the
launch of WO 1.0. The press release specifically for WO 1.0 is dated March
28 1996 and talks about the 15,000 beta copies that were downloaded and that
1.0 was "right on schedule".

For those not aware, at the time the basic "WebObjects" product was free;
this was a scripted environment. WebObjects Pro (ObjC API) complete with OLE
support (anyone remember D'OLE?) was $2,999 and WebObjects Enterprise
started at $24,999.
