WebObjects 1.0 Release Date? History?

All this discussion caught my attention and I unpacked my good old NeXT 
pizza box to check the old stuff there.

I do not remember if all edu users receive an early version, or it was 
just me because I was organized the OOCNS at the time, but the first 
version of WO (I think it was v. 0.85) was installed on my box around 
end of october 1995. In early november Dave Coyle and I had the first 
experimental site up and running, and just before Christmas the header 
and the footer of the GNUstep home site (at the time running on my HP 
Gecko / OpenStep at EMBL in Heidelberg) were coming from an WO 
application. Someone from NeXT told us we had the first WO site outside 
US, so it might be that in US there were sites launched even earlier.
