This *is* a development question... I'm trying to figure out
how to build up Unicode Strings that are characters with special
marks overprinted/overlapping. I think that there are some ways
to overlap any two arbitrary unicode characters, but I have no
idea how to actually go about doing it.
For example, I'm trying to create a string that appears as a
lowercase letter with a bar or a curve over it, assuming I can
find appropriate unicode glyphs for the overprinting characters.
(Alternative, does anybody have any overall insight to
programatically combining glyphs into new glyphs and temporarily
assigning them Unicode values so that I can have them display in
my textfield?)
